Professional Tool Reviews for Pros

For dispensing snowy buildup around your home, check out the Hart 40V snow blower and powered snow shovel. These two handy tools can kick Old Man Winter off your lawn… or, at least off your walkways and driveway.

Hart’s 40V PowerFit Snow Thrower Power Shovel is a great way to expand the capabilities of your 4-cycle, 2-cycle, or 40V attachment-capable string trimmer. As an auger-style system, it can quickly clear sidewalks, decks, and narrow walkways 12 inches at a time. Connected to Hart’s 40V attachment-ready powerhead, this powered snow shovel clears snow up to 6″ high and throws it up to 15′ feet in front of you.

Hart uses a universal attachment connection, so the shovel is compatible with any number of compatible powerheads from brands such as Ryobi, Toro, Weed Eater, Troy Bilt, Murray, Poulan Pro, and others. Of course, Hart’s own attachment-ready powerheads are a great start, and the kit comes with the 40V brushed model.

You can find the Hart 40V cordless snow shovel at Walmart stores and online for $227. Keep your eyes open, though. We’ve seen sale pricing about $25 less at walmart.com. The kit includes Hart’s 40V powerhead, snow shovel attachment, 4.0Ah battery, and charger.

For clearing driveways, sidewalks, and larger paths, the Hart 40V Snow Blower is the way to go. It has an 18-inch clearing width, and its brushless motor can tackle piles up to 10 inches high before delivering it up to 25 feet away. 180º chute rotation means that you can direct the snow where it’s most convenient.

The front features an LED lightbar, and much lower noise than a gas model, you can work at any time of the morning, day, or evening without upsetting your neighbors. When you’re finished, you can fold the handles over and make the storage footprint smaller.

You can pick up the Hart 40V Brushless Snow Blower kit for $398 at Walmart. It comes with a 6.0Ah battery and charger, as well as a 5-year warranty on the tool and a 3-year warranty on the battery.
